Via Ho Chi minh city to extend to travel out of city, so this is special design tour to help visitors see to understand history and culture of pass and now through the best hightlights of southern region such as majors sites around city, the tunnel of Cu Chi, Cao Dai temple, Mekong delta.

Day 1: Arrival in Saigon
Upon arrival in Saigon we will be greet and transferred to our hotel. We will then be free and at our own leisure until dinner time. We will meet our guide again and go to a local restaurant for our Welcome dinner.

Day 2: Saigon – City tour
We depart from our hotel for the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. Afterwards we will visit the War Remnants Museum, where you can see countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting the second Indochina war. Before lunch we will stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post office where you can get some good shots of the biggest city in Vietnam. A delicious lunch will be served at a “Pho 2000” restaurant in the central city.

In the afternoon we will visit Ben Thanh market and China town, which has its own unique Binh Tay market. Here you can experience our Southern Vietnamese daily life. We will return to our hotel after visiting Giac Lam pagoda, one of the oldest and finest pagodas in Ho Chi Minh City. It is very relaxing here.

Day 3: Saigon – Cu Chi and Cao Dai Great Temple
In the morning, we will leave Saigon for the Cu Chi tunnels, otherwise known as the "Iron Triangle" or "Iron Land". On our way there we will drive through pleasant countryside, rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by B52 bombers.
Next we drive to Tay Ninh town near the Cambodian border. This is home to the unique Cao Dai sect whose patron saints include Joan of Arc, Victor Hugo and Winston Churchill to name but a few. This religion is an odd mix of Buddhist, Taoist, Confucianism and Christianity. Join Cao Dai worshippers for their daily noontide ceremony where hundreds of worshipers attired in lively red, yellow blue and white, chant religious hymns. This is followed by lunch on our way return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4: Mekong - Day trip
We leave Saigon behind and head to Vietnam's rice basket, the Mekong Delta. We will pass through idyllic, rural scenery until we arrive at My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River, where we will visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Next, we will have a boat ride on the Mekong, visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, a honeybee farm, take a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, try a taste of seasonal fruit and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing.

Day 5: Departure
We will transfer to the airport to take the flight home. Trip concludes.

Day 2: Cooking & Tours in Hanoi (Meals : B, L, D)
Morning cooking class: Today’s class begins with a walk, accompanied by the Chef of our restaurant, to the local market, where participants get a chance to learn all about Vietnamese ingredients. After that, everyone rolls up their sleeves in the kitchen to prepare a proper Vietnamese meal. After the class lunch will be served in our restaurant to sample all the different dishes prepared during the class. This afternoon you will discover Hanoi with an English speaking guide. Part of your tour will include sightseeing by cyclo, a bicycle type taxi, by which you’ll discover the Old Quarter made up of the so called "36 streets," most of which are named after the crafts or merchandise traditionally sold there. Dinner tonight at another of Hanoi’s fine restaurants. Afterwards enjoy a performance of a traditional water puppet show. This fantastic art form originated in northern Vietnam and is best seen in Hanoi. The Municipal Water Puppet Theater is located on the shore of Hoan Kiem Lake. Overnight in Hanoi City

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay (Meals : B/L/D)
Morning depart for Halong Bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrousness of Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Overnight on the Junk Cruise.

Day 4: Halong Bay - Hanoi (Meals : B/L/D)
Waking up and having breakfast served onboard. Continue cruising around the bay. Take sampan to visit Luon Cave and come back to the boat. Having brunch before disembarking and van will pick you up at the pier and transfer back to Hanoi. Visit Dong Trieu ceramic and pottery village on the way. Arrive in Hanoi at 04:30 pm. Day 5: Hanoi - Hue (Meals: B/L/D)
Transferring to the airport to catch morning flight to Hue. Check-in hotel upon arrival and take refresh for a while. This quiet city is widely known for the magnificent architecture of its citadels, palaces, royal tombs, pagodas and temples built under the Nguyen Dynasty. We visit the major sites including the Imperial Citadel with Forbidden Royal City like in Beijing. Free shopping in Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue

Day 6: Cooking Tours in Hue (Meals: B/L/D)
The morning begins with a hands-on cooking class at our restaurant, highlighting the regal flavors of Hue cuisine as we prepare our own midday meal. In the afternoon, we take boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu, one of the ancient beautiful pagoda and Ming Mang Emperor's Royal Tomb. Transfer back to the hotel. Free at leisure.

Day 7: Hue - Danang - Hoi An (B/L/D)
This morning we drive to Hoi An, we will cross Hai Van Pass where you will have magnificent view of the China Sea. Stop at Lang Co to have break. Visit the fascinating Cham Museum, famous China Beach and the Marble Mountains en route to charming Hoi An. Known as Faifo to early Western traders, it was one of South East Asia's major international ports and today it still retains that special old-world feel. Enjoy a walking tour through the Old Quarter and try some of the local specialties. Hoi An is also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to have a new wardrobe made up, this is the time to do it. Overnight in Hoi An

Day 8: Hoi An Cooking Tours (Meals : B/L)
If you have ever known Cao Lau, the famous dish of Hoi An, you also should know that one of the keys to its flavor is fresh raw vegetables from Tra Que. This small village is located on the banks of a lagoon, and for generations the locals have been raising vegetables that end up in chefs’ kitchens all over the country. Today you will spend the whole day living and working among the villagers in Tra Que, learning how they raise and prepare vegetables. You will cook together and then have a lunch of Vietnamese dishes with the family. Back to Hoi An where you will enjoy a late afternoon cooking lesson at Brother’s Café. First you’ll travel by boat with the chef from the restaurant to the market to pick out ingredients for the lesson. Then it’s back to the restaurant by cyclo where you will prepare three classic Vietnamese dishes. Enjoy dinner after the lesson. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An - Saigon (Meals : B)
Morning tour of Hoi An by Cyclo. Known as Faifo to early western traders, the town was one of South East Asia's major international ports during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. Transfer to Danang airport for flight to Saigon. You will be met at the airport by an English speaking hostess. Afternoon sightseeing of Saigon with a private guide. Dinner tonight at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Saigon City

Day 10: Saigon Cooking Tours - Cu Chi Tunnels (Meals : B/L)
Morning cooking lesson at our restaurant: the hands-on cooking course is conducted by a professional chef and translated by a MC who will explain the teaching of the chef and talk about the history and culture of Vietnamese cuisine. The lesson includes a market visit and lunch. Afternoon excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels : Cu Chi was an important base during the American War, because of its strategic location. The Vietcong built a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelters, and weapon factories. Dug out by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network was only recently opened to tourists. Overnight at hotel in Saigon

Day 11: Saigon - Vinh Long Mekong Delta (Meals: B/L/D)
Leave your hotel at 7.30 for a 3-hour drive to Cai Be with stop en route at Trung Luong Bonsai garden for a tea break. Upon arrival, board a motorized boat to visit the popcorn cake, rice paper making family before visiting the lively floating market of Cai Be. Then continue by boat towards Vinh Long province to see the diverse fish traps in order to learn a kind of lazy fishing. After cruising along small shady canals, we step ashore and take a chance to watch a typical and interesting music show of the Mekong cultural life. Lunch is at the home/ bonsai garden. Afternoon, take a walk for about half an hour to enjoy the rural peaceful atmosphere of the countryside life, on the way we can also stop en route to learn more about fruit trees. Continue by boat to visit the brick and pottery factories. Drive back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 12: Saigon Departure (Meals : B)
Free at leisure until transferring to Tan Son Nhat airport to take departure flight onward. End of service.

The wonders of Viet Nam 10 Days/9 Nights

This trip is intended for those who are keen to see Vietnam's major places of interest but have limited time. Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy a full-day excursion to My Tho, 75km south of Saigon, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River. The tour comprises a cruise on the Mekong River, a visit to local homes & orchards, a sampan ride on palm-shaded creeks, a taste of seasonal fruit & honey tea and a performance of traditional southern singing. Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Hue (B, D)
Early in the morning, transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for a short flight to Hue, widely known for its magnificent monuments built under the Nguyen Dynasty (1802 - 1945). Pick up and transfer to a hotel. In the afternoon, overland to the tombs of King Khai Dinh (ruled 1916 - 1925) and King Minh Mang (ruled 1820 - 1840) where the contrast between Oriental and Occidental architectures is shown. Take a boat ride on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, viewing rural landscape and local activities at sunset. In the evening, a typical royal court dinner with a presentation of ancient dancing and music is arranged (minimum group size: 10). O/N in Hue.

Day 5: Hue - Danang (B)
A morning sightseeing tour focuses on the Imperial Citadel, built in 1804 on a site chosen in accordance with the principles of geomancy, and the Dong Ba Market, famous for its best conical hats in Vietnam. In the afternoon, transfer to Danang (110km) with a stop-over on the Hai Van Pass overlooking the scenic Lang Co lagoon. The remainder of the day will be spent at the Cham Sculpture Museum, which boasts the finest collection of Cham sandstone sculptures in the world. O/N in Danang.

Day 6: Excursion to My Son & Hoi An (B)
Enjoy a day trip to explore two World Heritage sites recognized by UNESCO in 1999. First, travel over rural roads to My Son (70km), where architectural treasures and sculptures of Cham culture dating from the 7th to the 13th century can be explored. Then transfer to Hoi An, a centuries-old city with ancient houses, temples, markets and handicraft workshops. Return to the hotel with a stop-over at the Non Nuoc stone-carving village where a wide variety of articles is sculptured from marble and sandstone. O/N in Hoi An.

Day 7: Danang - Hanoi (B)
Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Hanoi, Vietnam's capital city of tree-lined streets and centuries-old temples. Pick up and transfer to a hotel. An afternoon sightseeing tour features both cultural and historical highlights, comprising the Temple of Literature, the Ethnology Museum, the old quarters and a downtown pedicab ride (1 hour). The sightseeing day ends with a water puppet show, a theatrical genre reflecting the agricultural civilization of thousands of years ago. O/N in Hanoi.

Day 8: Excursion to Halong Bay (B, L)
Enjoy a day excursion to Halong, 170km from Hanoi. Board a private boat for a cruise in Halong Bay (4 hours), a World Heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1994. Visit some magical grottoes and relax in the best scenic beauty of Vietnam. Lunch of fresh seafood is served on board. Day 9: Excursion to Ninh Binh (B)
Take a full-day excursion to Ninh Binh, 100km from Hanoi. Visit the Dinh & Le dynasty temples in Hoa Lu, an ancient capital of Vietnam (968 - 1009). The highlight of the trip is a sampan ride to Tam Coc, known as Vietnam's inland Halong Bay. Transfer to Hanoi. O/N in Hanoi.

Vietnam Reunification Express Tour 14 Days/13 Nights

Tour highlights : Originally named Transindochinois, this is the train which links Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Construction of the railway commenced in 1899 and was not completed until 1936, but for many years the service was suspended due to various wars. In 1975, the re-establishment of the rail link between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City became a critical project as a symbol of unity for all Vietnamese, hence the name Reunification Express.

Take a sightseeing tour to the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975, and some French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office. Tour of Chinatown and Thien Hau & Quan Am pagodas. After seeing the Emperor Jade Pagoda and the War Remnants Museum we end the city tour at Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sale. Day 3 : Hochminh city - Tay Ninh - Cu Chi tunnels ( B/L/_ )
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive west to Tay Ninh, the centre of Cao Dai region. On arrival we attend the fantastic mid-day temple service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. On the way back, stop for a visit Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network of tunnels constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation, etc. and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American war. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Dinner on guest’s account. Day 4 : Hochiminh city - Dalat ( B/L/_ )

Day 7 : Nha Trang - Boat Cruise ( B/L/_)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy Nha Trang's turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. Take a boat cruise to offshore islands in Nha Trang Bay. In the afternoon, visit the Ponagar Cham Towers, the Long Son Pagoda, the Cathedral of Nha Trang and the Oceanographic Institute. A visit to a local fish and food market is optional. Day 8 : Nha Trang - Danang by day train - Hoi An ( B/L/_ )
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the railway station for a day trip to Danang. Along the way, enjoy the stunning panorama of mountains, rice fields, and ocean. Arrive in Danang in late afternoon, then transfer to the ancient trading port where artisans make Hoi An's famous lanterns. Guests learn how the lanterns are made then have a chance to create their own lanterns, from designing the frame to gluing the cloth. Day 9 : Hoi An - Danang - Hue - Sightseeing ( B/L/_ )
Breakfast at the hotel. Make the short drive to Danang. Stop en route at the Marble Mountains, famed for being a "Viet Cong" guerilla hideout during the Vietnam War. In Danang, visit the Cham Museum, which houses the world's best collection of Cham artwork. Continue on to Hue, passing over a spectacular mountain pass and a seaside fishing village. Arrive in Hue and transfer to hotel. Take a short trip to Dong Ba Market, and enjoy a cyclo ride back to the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Dinner on guest’s account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hue.

Day 10 : Hue - Hanoi - Overnight train ( B/L/D )
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning boat cruise through the centre of Hue on the romantic Perfume River. Visit the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda along the riverbank. Transfer by car to visit the Imperial Citadel. Visit the elaborate tombs of Emperor Khai Dinh and Tu Duc. Stop en route to visit local families to learn how Vietnam's famous conical hats and colourful incense are made. In the afternoon, transfer to the railway station for the overnight train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train in an air-conditioned soft sleeper cabin.

Day 11 : Hanoi and arrival. ( B/L/_ )
Arrive in the morning and transfer to hotel. The rest of morning is free for you to rest or begin exploring the city. In the afternoon, take a half-day city tour to visit the Temple of Literature, the Fine Arts museum and the Lake of the Restored Sword. Take a one-hour cyclo ride through the old quarter to enjoy the Hanoi's beautiful late-afternoon colors and to visit a traditional Vietnamese "long house". In the evening, enjoy a water puppet show, a remarkable Vietnamese art form that combines traditional music, fireworks, underwater puppeteers, and elaborate puppets floating gracefully over water. Day 12 : Hanoi - Sightseeing - Hai Phong ( B/L/_ )
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's former home, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Afternoon drive to Bac Ninh, the cradle of traditional Vietnamese music and theatre. On arrival, take a horse-drawn cart through country lanes to visit the Dinh Bang communal house and Do temple. Enjoy local folk songs before proceeding to Hai Phong for the evening. Dinner on guest’s account. Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hai Phong.

Day 13 : Hai Phong - Halong - Boat Cruise - Hanoi ( B/L/_ )
Early morning drive to Halong Bay. Relax on a 5-hour boat cruise through magnificent Halong Bay, a UNESCO designated World Heritage site. Enjoy a seafood lunch on board. Return drive to Hanoi, stopping en route at the Dong Trieu ceramics factory. Dinner on guest’s account Overnight at your chosen hotel in Hanoi.

Day 14 : Hanoi - Departure ( B/_/_ )
The morning is free for shopping before transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for departure.
